a hero to all us music kids in the 1970s who loved the Wax & we made Tapes when cassettes empowered our dance mixes..

Once we finally reached Nola In the late 70s, the mixes were off the hook..

Our tapes had Jazz, Funk & even Punk... then we added wild British New Wave in early 80s.
Michael Jackson was dancing "Billie Jean" when his electric feet LIT up the street..

Genres mixed into styles & created new music everywhere.

I'm glad P.J. Morton is reaching back to those days to turn on young generations to all the music that made our life better,

cause there were some harsh times along the way :
Lotta racists & nazis wanted to keep Black, Asian, Jewish, Native Indian, Latino People & Gay People away from their "so-called White European" version of America..
