No one seems to have picked up on the references to Boston's history. The disastrous Cocoanut Grove nightclub fire in late 1942 killed almost 500. And while the wildly exaggerated video shows a different design, the cover art for the single is 42 Lomasney Way, the last of a block of tenements built in the 19th century and demolished around 1960. Now surrounded by new development, the real building will either eventually meet the same fate as shown in the video or remain like the song as a tribute to the past.

great song Joe Santiago's ability as a lead guitarist gets better and better, pixies continue to break ground, however I think Indie Cindie is a better album from start to finish than Head Carrier is.

this song needed to be longer  .. I think is the bigest problema in all Head carrier songs!!! ... they didn't explore well the content of the melodies and interlúdios - It is a problem that has happened in the past with songs of the years 50 and 60 --the melodies were not extended correctly
