Bad cover, sorry, love the pixies though. They had released some of the best albums of the 1980's and 1990's. But the original song is way better than this one, and therefore this is not a good cover, not being even slightly close to surpassing the original.

eraser head is one of the most disturbing movies of all time

I think some people are more disturbed by shock-value content; others get jaded on it / tolerant to it quickly, and are more disturbed by subtler things, like what they can't explain (I think I fall into this category). The former would be more suited to watching _A Serbian Film,_ while the latter would be more unnerved by and better appreciate _Eraserhead._

That said, I think Lynch's film _Blue Velvet_ combines the best of both worlds.

It's not that I'm so hard to fuck with, but I always found Eraserhead a comedic picture.

@tigress and the u-fraidees That definitely isn't without truth. There are some comedic moments in the film too overt not to be intentional. Imo that's part of Lynch's design. Lull you into a sense of security before dropping you straight into the void.
