loukou amanda kelly Well if that’s what he was trying to say then he certainly didn’t say it. But if he was actually somehow referring to the tone, he’s either just as wrong, or this movie’s going to suck (and in turn my life is going to suck), because this sounds like an extremely edgy teen band trying to be dark and cool and experimental. I could even see this being a song in Twilight, and that’s not a compliment, at all.

Batman Dawn Of Justice he said it reminds him of when he was in college and seen the Pixies. He said the way the atmosphere made him feel the same way he does when he’s on set. A young and fresh feeling I would assume.

I was in 9th grade (nine years ago). My dad picked me up from an FFA meeting at school late at night. He had the Pixies’ Doolittle album playing. I listened for a while and then I asked “Dad, what is this?” He said “It’s the Pixies. They’re one of my favorite bands.” I said “they sound weird” and he just laughed and said “Yeah, I guess they do.” Then the song I Bleed came on. Instantly I was blown away. I had never heard anything like it. When we got home I looked the song up and listened to it on repeat. Then I stayed up until 3am on a school night listening to every album from start to finish. And that was it.

Similar thing happened to me. I'd been listening to Pixies since I was born (my dad is a fanatic), especially Trompe le Monde. One day in the car, was gonna tell my dad that, even though I like them, they sound kinda weird. Then, Where is my mind started playing.

I had a similar experience about 24 years ago. I was 14. Actually I was feeling like this quite often these years. I was discovering music genres and bands and there was so much good music. Also, there was no Internet then, so this discovery process was much more slow and intence.
