This is one beautiful song. I can tell that it was penned by Gamble and Huff. It just has that “Philly Thing” going on. I went to high school in North Philly, and I was fully embraced by the city.

This song always tugged at my heart ❤️, as it just makes you wish that you could just give Phyllis one big hug, as she was in so much pain. She’s gone, but never forgotten.

This woman's voice is so majestic and spellbinding....Just the title of this song, alone, makes you wanna cry. She was expressing how she wish life could have been for her. Wishing and praying that she has found the peace and understanding she had been longing for. Somebody needs to direct and write and produce a movie about her life.
