I recently heard this song for the first time ever!! (I know right, where have I been??) anyway I send it to my Pastor and I’m like omg this song is 🔥 and he’s like “Oh yeah, Petra? They’re a classic I have all their albums” lol so cool! “I, I LOVE THE LORD!!”

The Year was 1989 - When Christian Rock became AWESOME. LOL. I remember the day I first heard this song and I was like, " THESE GUYS ARE CHRISTIAN !? "

I heard the vocalist became a crack dealer.

I love the Lord too. I have listened this song since 1992. I prefer "Jesus Jesus glorious on" in Spanish because I like to give the glory to Lord while I listen that song. God is a wonderfull person. He has given me great things. I met to Jesus when I was 3 years old. My grandmother taught me the word of God. She was from Canary Islands but she came to Venezuela in 1951. I want to tell to the world God is the only hope. He is a friend who never fail you. He is always with you in all moment!!!

Classic! Grew up drumming to these songs, mastered them at 7years old. Still have the cassettes English n Spanish version's. They just have so much power with the word of God. We sing holy n honor power n strength threw Lord!! Yee

Now this is a truly amazing Christian Rock band!!! And probably their most notable song!! I can remember as a young kid blaring this, Granted I'm only in my 20s. BUT, The nineties was a grand time for music!! =] Praise the Lord!!!

Petra was amazing. They should come back.
(And about Rez, I have no comment except for that by the pictures on the back of Civil Rites they don't look like that good of a band.)

In terms of songwriting and musicianship, Petra was very good. They were as good or better than some of their secular counterparts.
