@Mark Brown As has been stated, it's part of an album that tells the story of Jesus from old testament to new. The album is fantastic but, at least initially, should be listened to in order to grasp the entirety.
Mark, I’m gong to go a little further.... as others have said, this is sung from the perspective of someone who was living in OT Israel. It is part of the whole story....you’re really missing the point, I’m afraid. What you’ve said is roughly the equivalent of saying, “you shouldn’t read Lamentations because it is sooooo old covenant.” Why not take your comment down so it doesn’t confuse other people?
