Peter Cetera - Save Me Lyrics
Man all alone, caught in raging water
Man overboard, caught in a terrible storm
Throw me the rope, pull me out of trouble
I need someone, someone to keep me warm
Why don't you save me
Why won't you save me
Don't leave me all alone
And it's all right
Wrap me up, baby won't you take me home
Forty below, high up a lonely mountain
Slipping down, baby I'm sinking fast
Throw me the rope, pull me out of this trouble
S.O.S. don't think I'm gonna last
I'm burning with desire
Why won't you save me
Come on hold me tight
And it's all right
Don't you know we're gonna have fun tonight

Peter Cetera Save Me Comments
Not Peter Cetera's typical sound, really like the blues rock style he did on this song
Omg...bring me lot of memories...
Cant believe it has been 30 years ago🙂
I love discovering any Peter Cetera music. Didn't know about this one.
Had a crush on Jessie growing up not just her but C.J as well
Nice Edit .. the best into song for me ..
and there is no Baywatch without Michael Newman jumping into the water like he does ..
I'm watching season 1 recently and it has I'll be Ready as the theme tho
Nancy Valen looks so gorgeous doing that sexy walk😍
Everytime I go to albania by the sea always when I jugg on the beach I listen to this song and I see myself like them running and swiming I miss baywatch I miss you a lot
One of the best series ever played
Equipo híbrido de combate
The best baywatch intro ever
Don't care what anyone says this is the true Baywatch theme not I'll be Ready
Awesome show. Miss watching it
Some of those babes are to tell apart.
Had a crush on Parker.
hot song but the newer one is hotter
Two words ho t
super like :D
Not bad
Baywatch .... a TV show with a lot of attractive women in one-piece swimsuits who walk backwards, even up ladders.
Jimi Jamison's "I'm Always Here" is A LOT BETTER... It is timeless.
This one sounds like music stuck from mid 80s (which is in fact 80s song).. which when you heat it you know it's fromt he 80s..
People who say that this is better are probably OLD People.. No offense.. But that's the truth.
I grew up watching the show. I was 13 in 8, I don't remember this song one bit. I prefer "I'm always here", it's a hell of a lot more catchy.
You forgot one.
Nicely edited together... Great song!
just whiching the opening of the show made my dick hard
Excellent editing, sound and pictures alike.
The music does fit, especially the way you've put it together. But it's just not what we're used to hearing, with the hard-driving urgency of "I'm Always Here." This sounds more like a good-timey party song.
Using this song on the end credits, however, might have been a good compromise . . .
Ermmmm..,..this IS the original theme to Baywatch season 1. Peter Cetera 'Save Me'
The original theme song. This one is way better than the junk they used later.
@jody024 As is what I said. I'm not arguing which one is better. I simply stated that this is the one that I prefer and that people that watched it from the beginning would know that it changed.
@PerthTowne Sure. No argument from me on that. Simply stating that I, personally, prefer this one and that there are, in fact, people that watched that first season and know there was a change. Nothing more, nothing less.
zapfogldorf+ Yep, and I agree with you. :)
The original NBC theme was "Save Me", performed by Peter Cetera. On some DVD releases of the first series
"Save Me" was replaced with "Above the Waterline" by Kim Carnes. For the syndicated series, the new theme
"I'm Always Here" by Jimi Jamison replaced "Save Me".
When the NBC episodes were added to the Baywatch syndication package, the opening theme was changed
to a shorter version of "I'm Always Here", with some images of the original NBC opening retained.
On the DVD edition of the second season, the original main title theme is replaced by the song "Strong Enough",
performed by Evan Olson
Whoa, that's a thorough recount of things. Thanks!
The longest titles ever lol
@Simon Page LOL, true - but utterly worth it for the tune and the girls
I surely miss this song for so long. Beautiful song from the Voice of Chicago.
The most awesome intro ever
