Think I'm gonna watch Lars von Trier's MELANCHOLIA now...
Meloncholia is the old word for depression. Despite this I love this track, especially the lyric. A strange surprise what I despise in other guys is here in me! Powerful

Shoes = worn
This track, along with Initial Machine Experiments, are my favorite tracks on Scoop. I very much prefer this to the version with Daltrey on vocals (although I love both versions). It just seems more fitting to have Townshend sing this song, being that it's obviously very personal. His voice has a fragile, vulnerable quality to it, which works perfectly here. The melody is otherworldly.
I think Daltrey is fantastic on this as he is on 'you better you bet' and 'how many friends' which are also personal pete tracks.
Fucking amazing
According to the "Scoop" album, he didn't even remember playing it for the Who, never mind recording it with them! I put both versions in my Townshend playlist. Thanks for the upload! 3-16-17
The Who's version is great, but this gives a whole new lease on the song. FANTASTIC!
