How can anyone sound so good after 38 years?.
They were the best when first getting success and they're still the best now a truly awesome act thank you guys for all the happiness and memories you have given me over the years no one does it better than Neil and Chris.

But... This track is not on the album. I have the feeling Hotspot will be similar to Release/Elysium and not an Electric/Super one. I would love a Bilingual 2.

We know that Neil and Chris like Ennio Morricone ("It couldn't happen here") as I recognize the first chords from his Soundtrack to "Once upon a time in America" in this. I've listened to this track 20-30 times today, still can't get enough...

This is, by far, my fave of the new 'Dreamland' single release. It should have been the single, not 'Dreamland'.

I don't like the deep rough voice of Neil but sadly it's (next to the drums and bass) the onliest deep sounding thing in that song. Everything else sounds very high so you need it for a good soundmix. Have you ever thought to gave more depht to the Udu drum (or is it a Tabla?) than to Neil? I think it could be funny to give more strenght to the Udu bass. That noise, that sounds like many strokers playing the same at the same time, in your background is simply too strong. That you don't really need it you can hear from timecode 1:57 - 2:29 (a really good part). I don't know, why everybody want to have that sound in, it fills the background if you've no idea what you should do there but in your case it overfilled it. (There's no space that the other sounds can move or breathe) If you have the time and nothing else to do try to make that noise more silent and deepsounding (or leave it out). If you like it,  than you can give Neil his own voice back, he sounds terrible. It's a good beginning please keep working on it!

Oh and I still forgot to add the biology! The human ear can't hear one sound the whole day with the same quality. The sensibility of your hearing sense will change when you're stressed, depressed, tired or when you had heared some other strong noises for hours before (for example: traffic noise, talking people, machines, e. t. c.). Also substances of your food, drink and some medicine, which decreases or increases your bloodpreasure, can change your ability to hear something. If your eardrum is well supplied with blood because of a higher bloodpreasure, it is thicker than normal and can't swing in the same way like a thinner one. A thick membrane can't react very well on low frequences and deep tones but it transferred high frequences and high tones absolutely fabulous without a great risk of any damages, but you need a higher volume level to hear anything at all. A thinner eardrum don't need a high volume level to hear high or low frequences clearly but it is easier to get an ear damage in cause of a wrong mix or loudness. So if you want to rate a sound you should stay away from everything what makes your eardrum thicker, for example,: alcohol, coffeine (coffee, tea, energydrinks), herbs and spices like Rosemary, Chili, nutmeg or ginger, a high dosage of salt, monosodium glutamate (soy sauce), to change fast from a hot place to a cold one, stress, sport (right before you want to hear something), stimulants and drugs! That list isn't complete but a good beginning. If you're someone with a very low bloodpresure you also can't hear everything very well but thats more because of your "sleeping" nerves and I guess everyone will know that noone is able to make a high jump in tiredness.

?? Who deleted that? (It wasn't me!)?? I just wrote in there, that I use capsule-headphones for listening to YouTube-Songs and Ratings. I hate in-ear because of the disturbing noises from my surrounding which they couldn't suppress clompletely and I don't like Speakers (eachtime when I Change something in the room where the Speaker stands in, the Soundquality will also Change, it tooks loads of time to find the right configurations and it didn't solve the Problem with the other noises around me (ticking clocks, traffic noise from the street in front of the house, fridge-noise from the Kittchen, Stand-by noise from my satelite-receiver, e. t. c.). And I said that you're right with the things which could be the reason for a bad Quality. (short Version)

Holy Shit! but I DO still think that. there was a mess. in the single CD --- the 1, 2 and 3 songs are actually 3, 2 and 1 order..... Why dreamland was chosen as the lead song /single? What a shame ! what a mistake.... the b sides are far better!

@MAXJ 9 Well I'm not a fan who likes everything they do, like some obsessive fans. And no I'm not saying that you are. We each like different songs of theirs for different reasons. And yes I'm very happy that they're still making music. And bloody good it is too! Some long standing artists come back with crap. Not the Boys. They're still knocking out incredible music. And long may they do so. I have been a fan literally since West End Girls.
