RIGHT ON, RODDY! Who GIVES A FUCK if they're gay. They are awesome musicians and songwriters. I love their music. And the other guy (not Neil) is a good looking dude, so lucky for gay guys I guess. Same here straight male, Loved the pet shop boys since the mid 80's. Who cares what sexuality anyone is, there music is great, and they have alot more talent than the likes of todays artists.

The Longevity of them shows what talent they had to be still going after 25 years and winning the life time acheivement award at the Brits.

I was 15 when the PSB's hit the music scene.I was devastated when i found out they were gay.To get over it i went out and got bummed chronically by 90 guys in a public toilet, for almost a hour.The reason was i wanted too be gay like Neil and Chris.The only fly in the ointment was, it didn't change me.But since 1987 i now walk with bandy legs and have a perforated rectum.You live and learn i suppose lol.

I'm 28, and female. I was 5 years old when I became obsessed with the Pet Shop Boys! It's not all about who is gay or straight, male or female, it's their fantastic music, that inspires people, gets into the basic human feeling and actually allows you to really let yourself go and ENJOY music. May their music live on forever as far as I'm concerned!

@CHERADICTO well said fellow! Straight guys like me also like PSB. There is too much stereo typing when it comes to pop and rock culture. Believe it or not , there are quite a few lyrics in most PSB tracks that i have been inspired with and have helped me through my GCSE English Language course 5 years ago.

Pet Shop Boys are amazing, i seen them in Glasgow 2 weeks ago and they put on an excellent show, Dont know how my attitude towards life would have been without them, But i know one thing. It would not be as good as it is. Their music is just so intelligent, That most ordinary people miss the point!
