As a Brit,I think PSB made a mistake using cultural appropriation videos without respecting the history of Romania and the people that died in the Romanian revolution are no laughing matter.I think contemporary examples of stupidity from the UK would have been a better fit than stealing it from another country.

They were referring to the Trump campaign hats with the slogan, "Make America Great Again", which most people now see as a symbol of hate and bigotry.

Last time I felt PSB (or Neil in particular) were being too political was in 1997 when Neil was in number 10 downing street getting smoochy with Tony Blair. That didn't work out too well, the bastard took the country into an illegal war no one wanted. At least then they kept it out of the music and they should have done the same here too, its possibly their weakest moment. Calling 18 million people stupid, whilst they live on very little and their offspring having a very real potential of owning even less isn't a great idea. Jetting off around the globe, eating at expensive restaurants with your friends from the BBC, and living in a nice area in central London would qualify you to say very little about the political situation and have the good grace to keep your thoughts to yourself. Please don't commit them to record. This comes from a fan who has seen them countless times and bought everything they've ever made since buying Introspective in '88.
