Dean Appleby It’s called ‘Relentless’. It came with the special edition of ‘Very’. It had really cool, bubble wrap packaging. I’ve posted all 6 tracks on my channel.

I still have it, in almost brand new condition, been played (recorded once), listened to many many times :)

I am totally ashamed to admit that after almost 30 years listening to their music I didn't know this track or even the EP/LP "relentless" I have no idea how i could have not heard him before!! This is crazy! Was this released in the US only or something?

I'm in the U.K. and I bought it from HMV when 'Very' was released in 1993.

It was packed together with Very in a very limited edition (20.000 copies I think). Think Very A-side an Relentless B side. Relentless was rather experimental and built on the dance techno electro house scene of the day. It is truly astonishing, in particular, One Thing Leads to Another -surely check it out- it is so overlooked gem that it is unbelievable Rap disco and everything else lyrics telling a story backwards. PSB fans are hopelessly waiting for a re-release of Relentless for years but unfortunately, we will see it in heaven, not in this worlrd.

A fantastic track by any standard. Listen to how what seems simple, really isn't. Chris's drum programming: mostly 4 on the Floor House? Yes, but... there's also a triplet pattern that is used to give the drums that wonderful push-pull effect. My only criticism of Relentless, is that it is somewhat underproduced. My understanding is that Relentless was originally intended to be used and mixed into the original Disco 2. But plans changed. However, at least we have this wonderful bonus album.

In the mid to late '90s copies of Very/Relentless were scarce. So scarce that I remember it taking me about a year to find a copy.

It is probably that they did not want to spend too much on production for a limited side project, given the fact that Very was rather a high budget album. How I wish they re-issue Relentless...

Is it really blah? It has some of the best PSB tracks since Bilingual. There are at least 6 PSB classics in Electric, Axis and The Last to Die being the top tunes. I am so glad that they decided to release Electric as I thought they were bore with the music when I heard Elysium.

GeneralArmorus it’s the original version that appeared on Relentless.

This track was amazing. I have the double version of Relentless with the bubble cover and even Relentless was good, I got stuck with Very Relentless over and over again.
