Pet Shop Boys - Footsteps Lyrics

Each of the songs on the Nightlife album deserve a full listen. They all tell a story that is relatable. 💗💗💗

This is one of three or four of their albums that I keep returning to and keep discovering tracks that grow on me. I keep going back to "The Only One" and "For Your Own Good" in particular. This one? Sweet song; arrangement seems a bit cluttered; perhaps they were listening to a lot of Spector's wall of sound at the time. The sentiment doesn't stick to me, but it's a pleasant diversion.
