Even though this song is absolutely genius, I noticed there is a problem with the bass in the outro, one of the notes are sharp throughout the whole outro, whether or not it was used intentionally to create more edge or tension I have no clue but it certainly sounds weird

Every other album feels like they’ve just made up riffs and rhythms to make songs, this album they made to break through into the charts- this album every song gives me the feeling that they had something to prove, and ever since it’s like they know they’re amoung kings and have plateaued( feeing and emotion wise with the depth and meanings, don’t kid me al they’re new albums are killer. Just this album is their concealing fate)

Just found out my girlfriend had a miscarriage last night. We didn't even know she was pregnant. I feel so ridden with guilt that I didn't see the signs and symptoms before it happened, and I feel burdened by this immense loss even though we didn't plan it, and we weren't ready. It still pains me so much that a life I helped create got taken away like that.

Been a fan of Periphery since PII, loved the entire album, but I've never had lyrics of a song hit me so hard. Truly the most personal song I have, of any band- and the only thing helping me move past this guilt. You guys really are an inspiration to me.

i just can't get over the vocals. they're neither fish nor bird. somehow between a shout and some weird scream. a deeper, more guttural growl would sound so much better. cleans are fine with me. instrumental is great without a doubt.

Everyone talks about the solo but I don't see many people appreciating the harmonic complexity of the intro riff. I love how they actually use the range of 3 guitarists to harmonise lines. Plus ridiculous technically!

They did it with such complexity that parts of each guitarists' riff is actually a part of what sounds like is written for the other. They use inversions like that alot in Periphery haha.

Yeah, the intro is insane, I struggle to play it, let alone play it well. The variations make it tough to get down, but damn do I like those dissonant variations, especially with the short sustain on the last one.

BTBAM on hallucinogens is some of the best music to listen to. The Great Misdirect man. My god. By the end of Swim to the Moon I felt as if I'd been reinserted into the womb and born again. That shit takes you places.

Dont like the clean vocals, sound like the backstreet boys or some pop band , its supposed to be metal, at least do some hard- rock style clean vocals if you gonna sing clean , instrumentaly is perfect.

I've literally played 2:57 to the end over and over numerous times. It's just so amazing. This is the first song I ever heard from this band and they created a fan for life from it.
