Given that this album is called, Thirteenth Step, it's about relapse. The "Thirteenth step" is to relapse and start the 12 steps all over again. This song, "The Package", is about just that- The package, or the pack, as many affectionately call it. That whole, "Miiine" thing though...whew...reminds me of the ego, as it lies and claws and tears its way through the psyche with rationalizing, lies, cravings, and emotional instability while begging me to relapse again.
