I had a discussion once, telling a friend this chanting from this song was similar to the next one or previous in the album, and he couldnt get it, bad music ear or just inculture or lack of inteligence? I dont get it xD.

This feels better as a prelude to Pet in my opinion. The sudden heavy shift into pet just works so well

I thought the same thing. They should've switched Lullaby with The nurse who loved me. This song works well as a prelude to Pet and TNWLM would've made a smooth transition between Pet's heaviness and Gravity's mellowness and also act as a break in between those two songs.

I bet it was lol. They're always up to something.

So my room is downstairs at my house and I was in the washroom upstairs brushing my teeth before bed and when I came back to my room, the power was off, so I figured that I'd tripped the breaker. It happens once in a while, so no big deal. Everyone else was already asleep, and because I'm a night owl, it was around 3am.

With the lights out, I reach for my iPhone in my pocket, and swipe the bottom menu up and turn on the flashlight. With the menu still open, I put the screen toward my palm to aim the light at my feet while I walk through the pitch black. Now, the breaker box is near the rear entry of our house, downstairs, behind the furnace, beyond the water heater, down a 20ft corridor that is maybe 4ft wide, and there are boxes stacked all the way down one wall of the corridor to make that 4ft more like 2ft wide. The breaker box is at the very far end of this corridor.

As I wedge myself into the corridor and take a step, THIS SONG plays in the pitch black. Out of nowhere. I hear that creepy whisper say 'Go back to sleep' clear as day, with no music behind it... then a loooong, awkward, terror-inducing pause and I FREEZE, waiting for the voice to say something else, and it's a solid 3 seconds before I realize that my iPhone has randomly selected THIS song, at THAT moment.

The odd thing was, I don't listen to this song when I listen to APC, and frankly, I haven't listened to them in ages, so I have no idea how or why this song was the one that started playing. There is no way that it was in my 'recently listened to' list or anything.

I then realized that the iPhone menu with the flashlight button also has the music player controls and my palm must have hit the play button.

At any rate, I mighta left a dookie in the corridor. (O_O)

I also love how her voice follows the guitar in pet. in the last song I feel like it's all his view of everything of him and her but when this song comes on it shows how she feels, that's why it's borderline scary because she is scared he won't let her leave and is insisting she be rather asleep or stupid and quite. Over great song just wish it was longer :)

You guys I'm going to sound bat shit crazy but go look into the connection with out of body experiences and sleep paralysis I wasted sooo many fucking sleep paralysis episodes when I could of been using it for something. The jist of it is lay on your back and don't toss and turn, the urge to turn is like a neurological impulse to see if your body is still awake as your body/brain being awake at different intervals is what causes SP that and of course problems with REM sleep. But yea lay there fight the urge to toss and turn eventually you'll trick your body into thinking your asleep and your brain will secrete a chemical that paralyzes you, most of the time when do it right I'll feel like a jolt that sometimes so intense it forces my eyes open as long as you don't twitch it shouldn't fuck anything up. That and you can feel your body get heavier the longer you don't move eventually right before it should kind of feel like your sinking into your bed or an odd numbness
