After taking a read at the comments, I'll write my two cents regarding this remix and why i think it's the best in the album.

While it's undeniable the whole Reworks album is a very solid compilation of remixes by great artists, all of them remixing one of the greats of music, Pendulum, what Devin Townsend achieves here is an incredibly rare occurrence as far as remixes are concerned: making it sound as if the song was a simultaneous collaboration instead of "just" a remix. In a way, this is exactly what I would have expected a "Pendulum ft. Devin Townsend" song would sound. This can only be done when the "remixer" has the utmost respect for the song being remixed, as well as for the stylistic decisions and aural intentions of the original while, at the same time, realizing the compatibility between writing styles and technical proficiency. This remix in no way feels like "Pendulum remade by Devin Townsend", nor does it sound like "Devin Townsend sings in a Pendulum song" (quite opposite to, for instance, the Noisia remix: it's a great Noisia song, but Pendulum is not really there). Both of their signatures are there in this remix, and are so close together, that you would never guess this to be a remix instead of a full-blown collaboration on a first listen.

TL;DR: It's the best remix because it doesn't sound like "Devin Townsend messes with a Pendulum song". It's the best remix because it sounds like "Pendulum sat down with Devin Townsend and they made a song together." And that's awesome.

If anything, it’s always nice to find something you like that you didn’t know you liked before.
...and a lot of Devin’s music is able to rope people in. I think even a casual listener would like Ocean Machine.

I honestly expected more out of Skrillex and Noisia than what we got, it was really disappointing. Townsend, on the other hand, blew my already high expectations out of the water.
