Payola$ - People Who Have Great Lives Lyrics
People who have great lives
Know no boundaries
Up the Amazon, down the Congo
In the air and on the Ocean
People live to be 165
People who have great lives
Make mistakes and go to prison
Some of them go crazy
When they're older
Some of them just get smart
And wind up in an encyclopedia
People who have great lives
Live through shit and still keep smiling
Million ton feet and
Kick fate in the balls
Don't play dead when your life calls

Payola$ People Who Have Great Lives Comments
I remember in the sixties when we all had to sign a form stating that we did not take play for pay!
there is. its like buying a bootleg dvd, or a buying a ticket off a scalper. Those are not illegal just frowned upon
It's very interesting that Dick Clark denies every receiving money to play music or promote a musician on his show, but he readily admits that he used to have 'his people' bribe radio stations to play the music of singers or groups that he promoted (because it was legal at the time). There seems to be little difference between the two for me.
I bet his closet might be a VERY interesting place.
Payola scandal? Its been a common practice since the music industry started.
