I remember going to HMV music store when Stanley Road first came out. I asked the salesman to put it on the Hi Fi, and Changing Man came on, first track, and people stopped and listened.Broken stones is on that album, one of my favourite songs of all time. and the sound of that Wurlitzer electric piano, wow.

I loved the Jam way back in the day, but when punk faded, I lost track of Paul Weller. Listening my way through his considerable catalog now and I'm blown away! Every album is brilliant & a fresh discovery. It's like meeting a long lost friend and picking up where we left off.

My daughter chose this song for her dads funeral - this reminds her so much of him RIP Steve
