Paul has ben doing albums that, at first listen, May dissapoint a bit. After some listenings more you find more of The complexity of harmonies,arregements..and things seem to fit. To me the 70,s ,Early, and this last 4 albums, from Chaos...are the best periods of his long career

No they don't. They want anything they can grab no matter what it does to other people. But McCartney never sing about the homeless and people who pass by and could not care less.. They don't go to his concerts. They can't afford it.

At this time Paul as a Lyric composer still have some gas, but he have not found the right direction for the melody , i believe the sculpture is there it just need to keep shaping up or working in the melody , like " with the little help of my friend" suddenly Joe Cooker made that song a great piece of art. with different arrangement.

I've always appreciated The "love peace' credo associated w the Beatles, unfaltering, I go out of my way to find peace , getting harder to find, not necessarily social, but just peace in general, so hard to get away from reality, i.e., traffic noise...etc, generally the necessary commerce, fewer green spaces. And when the cities reach their tether they're left there to rot away, Detroit, Youngstown...etc. Not pretty and not inspiring. give me a natural park anyday. But really, "Too many people" , oh yeah, too many people are already taxing resources that make it all happen. Wreck less breeding anyone?m

I've just heard album. I'm a fan but mixed feelings. At least in these troubled times we get another song of PEACE from Beatles. I think John would like it, so would George. Ringo still saying Love & Peace. Paul once sang proud to sing another silly love song. Here he is proud to sing another Peace Song. Most people fleeing for their lives around world since World War II. Families homeless or separated escaping tyrants, often to be met by other nations hate as evil far too accepted by the brainwashed. So the song that jumps out at me is Paul McCartney singing again as Beatles did, PEACE. KNOW not NO. PEOPLE WANT PEACE

As a diehard Beatle and McCartney fan, I'm sad to see how low Paul has sunk. Fuh You and People Want Peace both sound like detergent or cereal commercials, possibly because they both have the same cheerful, tinny sounding piano bits. There is zero soul in any of this stuff and catchy ditties are not enough.

We must be hearing different albums because this is the most soul and feelings I've heard from him in a while.

You have no soul and your ears need to be cleaned of the wax deep inside them.

This whole album is a slow burner, but I begin to suspect that it may be one of the best Paul has ever made. I have not found a song I really don't like, and most keep getting better the more I hear them.

Think about the musical library Paul will leave behind has anyone even the great composers ever produced so much music in a life time ?

Bob Dylan has made at least twice as many studio albums and was still touring the USA and World last I saw him at Red Rocks 2016.

Dylan's voice is awful , and his stage show is weird, where he turns down the lights and moves to another part of the stage. Plus Dylan is nasty to the even staff, they are told do not even smile at Dylan.

The old masters Beethoven, Mozart, Bach and the like left behind huge libraries of music. That said I put the Beatles work and their solo work in the same class as the past masters.

Sounds a little like something from PIPES OF PEACE.
