I detect some flat  notes in Paul's vocal here. Could have done with dropping a key eh' What a line up though. Wowww

That's the case for many of McCartney's recent time efforts. He refuses to drop keys from the original ones he originally sung them in. He's lost a few notes from the silky smooth range he had in the 60's and 70's.

By the way, dropping key isn't always the answer as it can knock the low range out of reach. Probably bot here so much though.

So Much Legends on one little stage,too bad we didn't get to hear Mark Knopfler play a solo but still loved the video

What a historic moment! It looks like an amazing show full of old-school legends. Only people who are missing are Ozzy Osbourne and Brian May. Wonderful line up for 1997 or any year.

Raymond Thomas "Ray" Cooper He is a session and road-tour percussionist who has played for yrs with so many greats...he often accompanies Paul as part of the band. But Paul also uses Wick for percussionist a lot too. Look up Ray - his list of who he has played with it really long as you said, you have seen him a ton...what is listed is only the tip of ice berg of who all he has played with/for.

Showtime needs to re-master this, improving the sound quality, mix and mastering...it was a real quality night of music that deserves to be preserved...we don't have Carl Perkins any longer and others will go in time. I had the opportunity to work with #'s of artists recording at the Montserrat AIR Studios. it was a very special place over a special time that will never come again.

If some haven't noticed: CARL PERKINS, the COMPOSER of KANSAS CITY, was also on stage...

WOOOOW! Are you deaf?? Not even close!! He did better than most people- in comparison to being MUCH older since his heydays. But NO!! He used to be able to sing WAY higher than that. I know; I'm a singer, and 55. Can't hit the same stuff. Nobody in the history of the universe can.
