Paul McCartney - I Wanna Cry Lyrics

Well, you said you loved me
But you know it was a lie
You said you loved me
But you know it was a lie
And that's the reason, but it's not the only reason
I wanna cry, cry, cry

You said you would find me
But you know you never came, yeah
You told me you would find me, pretty baby
But you know you never came, yeah
Well, the other night, you talked in your sleep, baby
You called out another man's name, yeah

You said you loved me
Oh, but you know it was a lie
You said you loved me
Whoa, but you know it was a lie
Ooh, that's the reason, but it's not the only reason
I wanna cry, cry, cry

He does blues WELL but should have done this type of blues more often.. Get down Macca singing those low down blues. Get WAY DOWN in those blues, Macca.

GREAT blues guitar and vocal here, old rock style of peter green....he’s done that type of guitar a few times, like on the way on Mccartney 2.

Paul nails it - when and where is this from ?

    Z.... ....

This track was recorded July 21st, 1987 during the sessions for the Choba B CCCP (Russian) album. Paul plays lead guitar with Nick Garvey on bass, Mick Gallagher on piano and Henry Spinetti on drums. The song was not released on that album - but eventually was released as the B side on the "This One" single in July of 1989.

everybody in this video are hardcore fans and Paul is their favorite music artist. The playing reminds me let me roll it

    M.... ....

MyDreamside , VERY much like the GREAT let me roll it....and yeah we are all hardcore macca fans....I started out liking other solo Beatles better but Macca’s great versatility and live performances won me over...so hardcore now listening to his ENDLESS bootlegs online now....I’ll never get through them man was so,prolific.

  20. d.... ....

Not quite "unreleased". This was on the "This One" CD single from July '89, along with "The First Stone" and an edited version of "I'm In Love Again". The full "I'm In Love Again" would not be released till the worldwide release of 'Choba B CCCP' in '91. The only US release of "I'm In Love Again" was on a '90 promo CD called 'McCartney Rocks', and he certainly does so here! This song always reminds me of the bar scene in the movie Weird Science. ("Fats, man. Let me tell you my story, man."

daveidmarx , you dudes have the enclyclopedic Macca knowledge I wish I did.

  21. m.... ....
