What is the guitarist doing with his hand the wrong way around? Trying to work it out. The delay effect in the verse

He is playing slide guitar. Just picking notes at first with delay, then goes into more of a slide later. Don't have to use a slide to get those delayed notes tho, you can just pick 'em without the slide. They also have a pedal steel slide guitar. so 2 guys are using slides.

Paul is such a wonderful worship leader. I have had the opportunity to see him at least a couple of times and have been so blessed by his worship music. He ushers us into His presence. Awesomeness!

I was in the hospital for 4 days a few months ago. On Sunday morning my smart phone was playing quite a few of these songs as well as the versions that just had the all sons and daughters. I didn't realized how the sound carried until many of the hospital staff was coming in and telling me they appreciated what they were hearing coming from my room.

What a joy to see Paul singing with his beautiful young daughter; loving it! God has blessed you for your faithfulness; may it always be so!

Could anyone tell me what is being played on the cajon? I just started playing the cajon a month ago and my church would really like to do this song. But all I can tell from this video is that it appears to be a sixteenth-note rhythm.

Hey man, it looks to be an eight-note followed by two sixteenth notes, repeat that for three beats then play four sixteenth notes on the fourth beat. That is the pattern. But you could change it up however you want.

I'd stick to quarter notes for most of the song (following the kick drum) and play that groove in the bridge. Then switch to eighth notes later on... Never 16th notes. That's way too much.

When we have done this at our church, I simply do a constant 16th-note run on the root notes. It gives it more push. Try it...you'll see what I am talking about. ;-)

it's just the bridge of "Oh Our Lord." That might've been from when they were practicing, or a small snippet of the song before it actually started. Hope this helps =]

This is a good song to sing for some one who is praising GOD in the morning. This tramples down the plans of the enemy in the day, that even them behaves in the EXCELLENT NAME OF JESUS CHRIST! How marvelous... keep it up Team!

Another Brilliant, Powerful, Spirit Led song from Paul Baloche (my favorite). I can't wait for our Worship Group Band to learn this song and start performing it at Worship Concerts. It's not really a song for Sunday morning, at least not at our church anyways, but we definitely could play it at one of our Worship Concerts. Now, if we could just get some people to come to our concerts, we might be able to plant a seed or two. God Bless and awesome work again Paul.
