So i am a christian, and i understand all the words in this song, but the only thing i dont get is "a cross meant to kill is my victory" could someone please explain for me.Thnx

The cross is an ancient Roman tool of torture and execution, I'm sure you already know that. It was so designed in such a cruel manner to ensure that the condemned would have to suffer long hours before eventually succumbing to death. In this case, a cross that was assigned where Jesus would eventually die in became the cross that brought salvation to man, including you. The instrument of death that killed our Savior gave way for Him to break the chains of death and emerged victorious over death on the third day. His victory over death became your salvation, your victory.
