Just spoke to Preacher Tom's daughter today.My best friend and she told me all about when Dolly wrote this about her dad. I told her I would look it up. What a sweet song. Also what a sweet caring deep Christian woman he was married to. No words can do justice to the special Godly woman she was. I literally felt the spirit of the Lord. It was a honor to meet her. Any of the family who knows his daughter and her 4 kids will know who this is.Was glad to speak to my dear from today we both live in different countries now.But once neighbors and best friends forever. N**. and B. it was a true honor to know your mother. Yes she is in Heaven with her husband "Preacher Tom" looking down from Heaven watching over the children still here and all her grandchildren she loved so very much.I love you all. Preacher Tom is my great uncle n my mommas favorite uncle , he is the one dolly is singing about!! I posted the song on my wall for my mom , my brothers n my Uncle Tom to hear from heaven cuz i know they r sittin around together rite now listening to my uncle toms song over n over again n its giving them even more peace n joy!! Thank u Dolly for writing n singing this about my mommas favorite uncle Tom, i remember we had the record when i was a lil girl just didnt know n understand back then, when momma n cousin Bruce (uncletomsson) told me the story about uncle Tom lol i was told again as a teen but actually got a real interest in later on ciz its now one of the types of music i listen too n it deffinately means alot to me bcuz hes always been my mommas favorite uncle!! :0) thank u to whoever put this on youtube also!! :0)
