So I heard this off Pandora and I only hear parkway drive off of there but this song caught my attention. The opening rift reminds me so much of the All That Remains song Last Time and a few of the rifts through the song sounds a lot alike. Lol I just wanted to share that experience

@Mike Hazen Erra opened a whole new side of metal. Parkway plays the same metal that everyone else does. Don't get me wrong.. Parkway is freaking amazing, but they are just good at playing what everyone else already plays.

Whats funny is the Rave culture talks about "PLUR" ( Peace. Love. Unity. Respect) but is the most drama filled scene Ive ever seen. At raves Ive had more stuff than I care to remember stolen.

At Metal shows Ive had random people give me CD's from underground bands, band members recognize me after the 5th or 6th show, a guy buy me drinks because I broke my ribs in the pit, seen the pit stopped so someone could find their glasses/phone/whatever. Yet people bag on Metal for being "angry."

Its an ironic world we live in brother.

This song and Pandora are the two most underrated Parkway Drive songs ever.

ABR is my favorite Metalcore or whatever you want to call it band. I usually put anything that sounds mostly metal in the Metal only category. Parkway drive second favorite Metalcore band. I use to listen to these guys since Killing with a smile, wish I knew about them when don't close your eyes came out. Well I'm going a bit overboard.

you know how some of the classic Metallica had some beatifully heavy guitar work\riffs...Parkway Drive has that, but completely on the next fucking level. Winston has a special sound too compared to most...like Phil Anselmo, Mark Hunter, Jamie Jasta...

I understan that ther're two guitarists and that the lead guitar is doing a tap pattern throughout the breakdown., but the tap pattern never changes. Sure it's not the same note but it's the same collection of notes and it just repeats until the breakdown endsan goes back to the awesome verse riff. 1:46

Actually Veil of Maya are far more Creative with Breakdowns....

It's not the same note over and over, they don't just palm mute lol listen more closely they have two guitarists remember that good bands don't use both guitarists to palm mute top two strings :p just like august burns red, August Burns Red have the most creative breakdowns.

Everything before 1:15 sounds amazing, then the song goes into a breakdown. I'm not a fan of breakdowns. They just don't sound that great and they're not very creative. If I wanted to hear the same note over and over again as it follows the bass drum I'd be listening to a gay band like "Asking Alexandria." Parkway Drive is still a good band aside from the fact that there're breakdowns in all of their songs. If they have a song without breakdowns please tell me its title.
