This was my jam back in high school! I miss old paramore so much

I get it, these songs are good, all their songs are, but most of the ones that didn't end up on the albums around the time are for legitimate reasons. Some of them just aren't as strong as the rest of the songs on the album, lack of recording time just because the other songs that made it were better and easier to work with. Then some of these songs just simply don't fit the tone of the overall album or they are to similar to some of the other songs. Like I can't see "Decoy" being on the Riot! album in comparison to what's already on there like "Misery Business" basically is the better version of it and it fits the sound of the album and is more powerful. Decoy is still very good song and they even played it live a few times, that's how almost "officially releasable" it was but it still would have clashed with other songs so it wasn't included.

I could definitely see this song on the Riot! album but at the same time it's still like "meh" because "For A Pessimist, I'm Pretty Optimistic" fits this sound much better and has more "oomph", see what I mean? (Along with some of the songs towards the bottom of the track list).

So can like every Paramore fan ever stop calling the songs they never officially released on the studio albums, especially during the release hypes, underrated because of-fucking-course the majority of Pmore fans never heard them. They didn't write on the bottom of their albums "Oh, yeah, umm....go check out our other songs we didn't put on here too!....After we add them as bonuses a year later!" and on top of that they aren't that easy to discover or even access like the official released ones. There are even songs they don't even have demos for, like the first song they were writing for their 3rd album had very good lyrics and was rather dark but they ended up scrapping it towards the completion of the album and using, from one of the lines in the song, "brand new eyes" for the name of the album. It would have been lovely for them to finish the song but it wouldn't have sat well with the album in general now since we have all heard the whole album, just because it isn't available doesn't make it underrated, it's not even a full song yet. I digress, at this fucking point it seems like if one of their songs wasn't released as a lead single it's underrated like since when the fuck were "Emergency, Pressure, That's What You Get", "Crush Crush Crush", "The Only Exception" "All I Wanted" "Brick By Boring Brick", "One Of Those (Crazy Girls)" "Last Hope", and "Now" underrated? Just because they aren't getting overplayed now, doesn't mean it wasn't a banger in it's own time and a little after. The unreleased ones are unreleased because they'd rather have you focus on the material they worked the most on that are even better than the demos so duh they are going to push those much more.

Underrated is more like if "Ain't It Fun" was overshadowed by a song like "Friday" by that Rebecca Black girl and like she won a Grammy instead of Paramore even though "Ain't It Fun" was popular as FUCK and had more meaning and was better constructed as a whole. That's something being underrated.

This takes me back to those MySpace days *sigh* this was my MySpace song for about a month. I think I was about 16. Going on 25 now and this makes me feel so young and free. I remember being in such a rush to grow up and becoming an adult ( I know so dumb of me) I would kill to go back to all that even if just for a day.
