Paramore - Future Lyrics
That's how you had it, yeah,
Pretty sure.
It is. It goes clapping a bit.
Alright, here we go.
You go octave down this time.
I'm writing the future,
I'm writing it out, loud.
We don't talk about the past,
We don't talk about the past now.
So, I'm writing the future,
Something won't always be missing,
You won't always feel emptier.
Just think of the future,
And think of your dreams.
You'll get away from here,
You'll get away eventually.
So, just think of the future,
Think of a new life.
And don't get lost in the memories,
Keep your eyes on a new prize.

Paramore Future Comments
This song came on my Spotify and I had completely forgotten about. Thinking about this past decade, it’s crazy to think in 2012 I graduated high school. Now I’m engaged with a baby on the way. Life is crazy.
Im here. Thanks for bringing light in my darkest year which is 2013. I will never forget the self-titled album specially this song which made me fall in love with paramore even more. I wish i could go back in time and just listen to every song you released, even those unrrleased ones, covered songs, just fanboying hard for them. Simple times. Now i graduated in college, i have nothing to look forward to. I keep looking back in my past, thinking bout what i did wrong, and what i should have done to make it right. Its not good for me to do that, thats why im making a choice of changing myself. Stop looking back, and start moving forward. You can look back, but dont stare.
I will always adore you hayley, taylor, zac, jeremy and josh. You made my adolescence a better experience. Thank you!
6 years later I’m still looking to the future
When she says “you won’t always feel empty...You’ll get away eventually” I wanna believe her so much, sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t. :) :(
I like it. It sounds like Sigur Ros.
About to be 2020.
thank you
acoustic rock, Progressive rock, post-rock, electro-rock
Motivation song about future no more suffering or pain...
This song deserves more views. One of their best songs. It touches my soul in a way I can’t explain and has saved me in my worst times. Thanks paramore ❤️
This is why I Love music
The lyrics.. the melody... makes me think about life, dreams, hopes, fears, future... I Love Paramore since I was 10... This is my favorite song of all...masterpiece
love this
My favorite
Paramore in post rock sounds great
Hayley Williams is my baby girl love child and I miss her.
2019 yo
Shame hayley and her band went 80s pop so sad because that girl and her band are amazing 💜
This is my go-to song when I feel like life is getting too much. I find it really calming for some reason...
My fav!!!!! ♥️
In on this
The false ending is very similar to the final of the song Small Crimes from Failure. I believe Small Crimes was a ruge reference for Future, once Paramore have recorded Stuck On You, that is a Failure song too. I really like both of the bands.
Btw there is a song from The Smiths called Some Girls are Bigger Than Others. This song has a fadding similar to Future and Small Crimes, but, curiosily, it happens in the beggining of the track. This is my favourite music from Smiths...
I really would like to know other songs that have a false ending like that... with the music just comming back slowly.... Just for curiosity...
This is probably their most experimental song.
minha banda favorita pra sempre 🖤
você de novo biscoitando nos comentários?
@luck. quem é vc?
@anthony moura alguém melhor q você
@luck. aham ta, eu quero saber o que eu falei de errado pra vc vir achar ruim kkkkkkkkk
2019 and still the most realist any paramore song could get <3
I love the sort of deconstructed nature of this song. It's in between being raw and fully produced. It's beautiful.
Never gave this song a chance. It bored me and the 7 minutes was intimidatingly long. I regret it as the last few minutes were some of the best. Never give up on a song until you’re certain it’s showing all of its cards. ESPECIALLY a closer
Pure merveille !
Fuckk miss this song so much ;)
this song is my best friend, from the past i've been through
Pois esse tal Futuro nos deixou mais triste com esse tal hiatus
Seria melhor que esse tal futuro nunca tivesse chegado
Play 3:15

Unpause song
Get Ilan Rubin for drums, HW for vocals...there you go, what a fuckig masterpiece is this, right?
This is honestly beautiful
I so like this song, a lot
Reminds me a lot of 90's emo. I love it.
This, this is the best Paramore song. Now of course it's all opinion, but it really is the most spectacular song because it speaks to me. I've never given the future much thought until recently, a 23 year old ready to move out and build his own future. It brings much hope to something I didn't think positively of. And my gratitude and love will never cease.
This Will Destroy Paramore
I love the sould of this song. The way it makes you feel. It actually makes you think of your own future.
They say humans have been insane every since we became self aware. We are constantly worrying about where we are going, What we've done, who will be with us & for how long. We are inside of a design so huge that we can't always see how everything is constantly taking new shape. But this song seems to have opened up a door in all of us. Its like God/TheUniverse laying its hand down on your shoulder and calming every doubt and fear with the assurance of vast space I front of you. We all have so much room in front of us. I love familiarity & sharing common feelibgs with others. We don't even know each other but as we share these feelings knowing we are not alone we become family. Think of your future and think of your dreams 💫
You'll get away from here, you'll get away eventually.
2019♡
the heaviness of this song shows that paramore is much more than a band for soft teenagers
3 years ago I listened to this song to help me get out of a toxic relationship and I'm back again playing the same lyric on repeat
"Think of a new life"
Ahakdbsbb this song is just so POWERFUL 😩
I still come here whenever I feel depressed... 30 thousand of those views are from me
am I the only one who listens with their eyes closed and genuinely feels the music in their soul? I feel the emotion in the sound and I love it. this song deserves so much more recognition than it got when this album released.
this track reminds me of a band called cloakroom
not a fan of Paramore, but this song has some shoegazey elements that really gets me going
Lo real maravilloso en esta canción
This song makes me want to touch the stars
Now this is truly EPIC. the instrumentals we're oh boyyyyy
Miss the old paramore:(
im screaming releasing my pain at this part 6:17
This song has help me keep from loosing my damn mind 😆
Nunca tocaram aqui no Brasil, vacilo
we all can have a future you just have to be willing to find it Hayley im looking forrword to meeting you some day you and the rest of paramore
fantastic
Sick 😰
Last best song of this band in my opinion
was this song sampled from or on Afterglow by Draa? Cause the instrumental sounds so much the same and it's been bugging me for the longest
I will never get tired of this song, my favorite of all time
One of the most underrated songs in the world.
so underrated, i really love this song, it makes me feel empowered and hopeless, but a little sad at once (¿?)
Masterpiece indeed.
Yeah it’ll be the future by the time this Song is over
8 minutes long and every second is worth it.
🚗🚘🚗
This War of mine
This song saved my life
Paramore did amazing in this song. It always gives me chills and all the elements are beautiful. I love how much emotion is brought to the live performance and I love when Hayley just dances freely to the instrumental. I will never get bored of the amazing instrumental that this song brings. This song and Part II are my favorites from this album. Thank you for this song Paramore.
I saw one of their videos cruising through the t/v channels and thought um! Sounds interesting & now I am Youtubing them checking out their albums and unsurprisingly, I am not disappointed. Any other good bands I could check out?
Never expected this kind of song from Paramore. Pleasantly impressed.
Slept on
This is absolutely Post-Rock inspired and I love it. if anyone is looking for something similar sounding, I get some serious This Will Destroy You vibes. Maybe Caspian would also fit the bill (Early Caspian; Albums like The Four Trees, Tertia, You are the Conductor).
Give a go!
I like this song because its darker than the other songs on the album
My favorite
what's good fellow parawhores? I'm a 14-year-old songwriter and singer blah blah blah. The point is, I would appreciate it if you checked out my channel. I uploaded my first cover today which happens to be this one that you're currently listening to. Thanks for your time ;)
incredible song
This song is a pretty obvious tribute to Failure's 'Daylight' - they even had Ken Andrews mix the record. Y'all should go listen to Fantastic Planet ASAP.
This song calms me so much I love this song more than most people (lol) this is so underrated
Just like the comment about this song taking away her breath when she listens to it, this song stops me in my tracks and forces my attention.. every time the instrumental part of the song starts i involuntarily close my eyes and start to rock my head out to the tempo.. I love this song more than anything
this song makes me cry so hard, it's so beautiful
Thank you Paramore. You guys have helped me in all my good and bad times :')
This song is so calming oof
even with after laughter out for nearly a year now and i love it, this still stands as paramore best song without a doubt, their finest hour, one of the best closers of all time, i dont think they are gonna ever top this song, and i say it as a compliment to the song itself. This is hayley`s pure nostalgia and soul and taylor`s mad genius as its best.
Self Titled is undoubtedly their best work...
yes and by far, and every year that passes gets better, time puts thing in their place and this is paramore at the pinacle of their career, they were really inspired around this time, a 17 songs album and not a bad one.
YES...
It's like those songs are maturing with you and every time you listen to them you found another interpretation to the whole album...
Cause if you listen carefully it's like all the lyrics are connected to each other, especially after the interludes...
That was really the peak of their criativity and art...
I listen to this every year registering for classes to take next year in school
5 years later and this song still hits home, and now After Laughter hits hard as well!
This song means so much to me. So underrated
Ahhh that faaaade 😍😍😍
this one is very powerful. don't know exactly what it is that I feel when I listen to this but it hits me every time.
Louvo-te Paramore
How can people in their mid-20's have produced so much great music?
It blows my 48- year old mind.
It's not simply hard work and persistence. There's an element of genius in Paramore songs.
Future is one of the most awe-inspiring pieces of music I've heard in decades.
this song.... is it written about the future without the happiness/ with the happiness loosing members of their band
