omg!! This was my album when i was young lol and i discovered this band pretty late for myself. My friends at the time all ways told me Paradise Lost was an alright band but i didn't care i loved All their songs especially Symbol of life album. This was like 03-04. I Still enjoy them. Its been a while Paradise Lost <3

@ Wade Wilson : I really love Lost Paradise and I listened them live when they came to Paris two years ago. As Carla Sabrina, I discovered them with this album and, then, I got all of them. I don't understand why you say this album is a shame ; at the contrary, I really enjoy their capacity to change and to renew their music while keeping their own touch. I don't like PL's fans who, like the ones of Metallica, would prefer that they do exactly the same stuff during 20 years...

Discovered Paradise Lost in 1993 when Icon came out. There was a UK tour, got on that one, great show. They came around again just a few months later, this time supporting a band I'd heard good things about...Sepultura! Had chance to check out the first song on the new album Refuse/Resist before bailing out to the gig. Paradise Lost were so good, we were like.. shit! Sepultura made a big mistake, they're not gonna be able to top this.....but they did! Crazy gig - Awesome! Paradise Lost "At the BBC" was partly recorded at this gig!

each band is entitled to their own artistic freedom

This is a typical example of the PL's limitations as a pop band. They are simply not made to sing pop as they have been trying to do on every album since host.
