Paradise Lost - In All Honesty Lyrics

Sit alone and celebrate good times of change
Sit alone anticipate great times of change

But their all washed away with laughter

As we wait to perish, turn to ashes
Things we've all gone through.....

Sit alone and celebrate good times of change
Sit alone annihilate all words of praise

When it all seems to spell disaster...

Words of wisdom have no meaning
In all honesty
Its just fiction, your religion
No apology

There's no concealing the things that I do
There's no concealing the things that I choose

Sit alone and celebrate good times of change
Sit alone anticipate great times of change

But their all washed away with laughter

Words of wisdom have no meaning
In all honesty
Your religions contradiction
But you cannot see

Words of wisdom add frustration
To our agony
Constant knowing, always showing
Endless sympathy

I've been a huge Paradise Lost fan for so many years, got all their albums, i started off like any full on fan would just seriously digging their really heavy early stuff, and i totally loved this big transition. its also good to see them go full circle again back to the super heavy stuff :) When i look back at their albums i think Believe In Nothing is SO underrated, and Host is my favourite! For a dark, electronic pop album it sounds like something Depeche Mode forgot to write! Brilliant!

  12. H.... ....

Their calling is Alternative. They do metal well, but their calling is right here! Rivaling Depeche Mode!

  20. r.... d....

The best albums from them, love this era a lot.... don't why they switched back to metal and stop doing more "experimental" stuff :/

In the early 2000's when I was in my early 20's I used to borrow this album from the local library every autumn. I loved the atmosphere and the melodies. This was one of my favourite songs and still is. Maybe I'm going through a mid-life crisis because now it doesn't sound so special anymore. :(

This is the only PL album I dont have, and Blake is the only Ulver I don't have, because from what I've heard of both albums, they sound like both bands worst albums, but I recon eventually I'll finish my collection...

  24. s.... ....

reminiscent of Ulver's William Blake's The Marriage of Heaven and Hell or whatever it's called

What an underrated song from an underrated band. This album blew my mind when I borrowed it from the local library in the fall of 2001. Such an excellent emotion and mood and good melodies on Host. Long live PL! This song deserves at least 2 million views!

Want to download the .mp3 for any song..? Search for "Artist - Songtitle free mp3 download" on Google. Can't find it that way? Try another variation, use your mind!
    "Download artist-songtitle mp3 free".
Google is there for a reason - I've never gotten a virus this way. Beemp3.com seems to be a good site in my opinion.

I keep coming back to this song time after time. I'm new to PL, but this is quickly becoming one of my all-time favorites from them.
