That's an incredibly stupid sentiment. Why would you want less success for bands you like? You like the band, but you want them to only succeed "a little" and to only be "somewhat liked" and to be "less popular"? Those are things you should wish on bands you don't like.

That's why I hardly listen to any of the bands that are on the radio anymore. They get so over played you get sick of them

@headbang18 So true, i loved your example of ATL especially, because they have been my favorite band way before DirtyWork, but when you try to release all these "mainstream" songs that people love, then it just becomes a different band, and you get these fake fans, and it's annoying, because if you asked one of these "fans" about their older less popular songs, or albums, they would have no idea what that was. So these bands, they need to stay the same.

I love this band. And no matter how much they deserve all the fame in the world.. I'm too cocky to make them popular. I love their 'smallness' and their pureness.

Underrated bands like parachute should just stay the way as they are. Say if one day they became popular and mainstreamed, they might become money minded and just simply compose songs, or maybe their songs would not be as special as before. In my opinion. For example All time low, their dirty works had a big change, it's still good but it doesn't sound as great as what they did before. Also we are special coz we listen to music that are not so known, unlike those who listens to normal music

@fire1ce I think MreeBee4 is just trying to say they don't want a band they love and enjoy to become the mainstream radio tune that you hear 80 times a day. Because yeah we love the song, but when it's overplayed like that it kind of ruins it. Especially when someone else is like "OMG I <3 this songzorrzzz! This is my fav band!!!!!!!" And the song they overplay on the radio is the only song they have ever heard by them.. -_-'

@00boycrazii True that. I only listen to music like this. Almost everything else is too mainstream, gets old too fast. I can honestly tell you my favorite band is Freelance Whales and other than the people I told I know NO ONE who knows of them. Thats how I found these guys and like you. I fell in love with the first song I heard. The Mess I Made. Marvelous. To describe it in one word.
