no matter what band he's a part of, kevin is the best singer/songwriter of our generation. he rivals our parents generation of cat stevens, james taylor, and others. thats no shot at the current band members, because he is always surrounded by talented people. but keep doing what you do best; writing amazing lyrics and singing them with an amazing voice.

I would like parabelle.... but they studiofied the lead singer waaaay too much. All the vocal effects have been ruining rock. Let Rap and country use that shit... Rock isn't supposed to be radio playable, it's about the music.

It's kinda like, how did evan's blue become big? Same with deftones, rage, staind, metallica.... They all started heavy, raw and about the music. As soon as it wasn't about the composition and became radio songs... every single one of them fell face flat on the ground.

+blake johnson Every band experiments with what works and what doesn't. Have you listened to his newer parabelle stuff? Most of what i've heard doesn't have vocal effects. Like listen to Us(walk away) and such.

+blake johnson Alongside that, these guys aren't on a label. It's hardly about radio songs for them .They refuse to get themselves signed. Kevin's been there, done that. Also, hear them live cos they sound almost identical to the studio songs. Kevin's got some raw talent, but if it's not to your taste, that's understandable. :)

He simply was not making good decisions for this band(formerly Evans blue) anymore, and we as a group have decided to move on."
Since 2009, Kevin Matisyn has started a new band named Parabelle which has released several albums.

I've been drifting through 1,000s of videos looking for decent music, and my first encounter with Parabelle was via a movie mashup which used the track "Let It Out". That was yesterday, so my task now is to check out their other material.
