For some reason this music reminds me of life is strange

wtf... this song does something to me.... pierces me right in the chest. Makes me want to cry but I'm not sure why, makes me want to laugh but I'm not sure why. All I know is I can't stop listening. Wow. Words don't do it justice......

This song is a group of best friends, living in the stage between childhood and adulthood, running through the woods and howling, and talking and crying, together the whole time

The song definitely paints depression in a calming way, melancholic yet euphoric if it be possible but they achieve those mixed emotions. Every time I struggle and feel drained with life, this song saves me. Thankyou, The Paper Kites.

For me this song tells about all of the states of mind after breakup. When I was after breakup, I listened to it very often and I tried to figure out my feelings and how far should I go to be completely psychically healthy. At first, the protagonist KNOWS that something bad is going to happen and that she will leave him. Then he thinks about her a lot, but tries to go his own way. Then, he just knows who he is, he knows how to dream, but still there's a wound in his heart/mind and he can't go on properly. Finally, he lives quite normally, trying to cover his sadness with "paint". And the girl doesn't mind. For me it's really sad, I got through all of these stages, from big love to "I try to act as usual, but I am still wounded as hell". :(
