I thought papa roach sucked the big one many years ago and now after overcoming many demons in my life i respect them for songs like this! they are very real!

Their old songs are a thousand times better.

Coming from a mainstream/indie rock background with an interest in rock/ soft metal (not too much screamo). This is good. Can see why the heavy metal group might not like it tho.

+Springtail I don't think metal fans (i'm one myself) dislike this too much, I personally love this album but also their old heavier Nu metal stuff, it just upsets people that they're experimenting, unfortunately music is a "damned if you or don't" world, people complain if a band does the same style over most of their albums and says they're being unoriginal or being sellouts by not experimenting, but then when a band does change things up or experiments they get called sellouts for trying to be mainstream sellouts and attract new fans with a different sound, its stupid really, but this album is still amazing

Scøut Følf . He's now a Christian and he's changed his path in life therefore you'll never become across songs like he had years ago.

Just Do "Infest 2" and make it a straight rap metal like the first one , this album cool too but I like their rap metal more than this stuff

+Diet Bargs What's his name Cory or Cody the singer of PaPa Roach? He sounds badass in Infest. That was one of my favorite album as a teen. They sound good now, but I don't care for how they abandoned they're whole rap side which is what got me liking them.

+Diet Bargs I love Chino as a vocalist from Deftones & his band Crosses. Deftones always had this perfect formula of blending alll their sounds together in a nice balance. Other bands either did all metal or rap metal tracks. Plus Chino could also sing really well making room for all kinds of styles & dynamics in their music.

+Justice Kee You should listen to The Hunting Party. LP's latest album. It's not a comeback to Hybrid Theory / Meteora, but it is kinda alternative metal just like PR's FEAR.

You can’t choose between them. In 32 and linkin Park has helped me so much but then so has papa roach. As a teen I used to scream both their songs at the top of my voice. Both have helped people gets through stuff. You can’t make people choose man. They are both amazing bands. RIP Chester.

Kevin Churko was the producer for this album. He's produced all of Five Finger Death Punch's albums since War Is The Answer. That's why FEAR has those real beefy guitar tones and drum beats that are just so addictive.

No. No. No. I see nothing that makes him look "gay." If anything, he looks like a teenager going through a phase, but he doesn't even resemble that very much. He looks like a rocker, which fits in pretty good, doesn't it? Who cares though? His voice is really good, that's all that matters.

To me, this sounds more like a mixture of Hollywood Undead & Skillet. I'm not saying this isn't a good song though because it's epic like most from this album!

This is the one Papa Roach song in a long while that at some points still echoes tiny bits of what they used to sound like in the days of Infest.

This album sounds so different in a way I do not like. This honestly sounds like Three Days Grace more than Papa Roach. The lyrics don't sound personal in this album like they did in songs like Scars, Forever, Lifeline, etc. The vocals sound like they are produced in a completely different way.

@Twan Wright That's not what I was requesting at all, and uh no not really. Before I Die, and Leader Of The Broken Hearts sounded so personal and straight from Jacoby's heart. None of the songs on here to me sound like Jacoby feels what he's singing. It all just sounds like overproduced trash written by a paid songwriter to me. @GIO DIO and you're stupid. Learn to spell. I love Three Days Grace, and have listened to both them and Papa Roach since I was a little kid. I have a pretty damn good music taste if you ask me, but this to me doesn't sound like Papa Roach, it sounds like a sellout version of Papa Roach that Jacoby doesn't care enough to write his own lyrics for, or he wants to write anthems for all the depressed teenagers, instead of writing about his struggles which is what he is much better at. So shut your damn mouth, and go to school so you can learn how to spell. 

As I listen to this over again, I don't dislike this song. This song is pretty good, and definitely reminds me of Getting Away With Murder style stuff. The other songs I heard weren't very good though. This still gives me a major Three Days Grace vibe though, but I dig the guitar a lot.
