that minuscule horn tidbit at 3:43 brings so much to the song. to me it embodies a bittersweet, somewhat upbeat of an ending for the protagonist of this story. after thoroughly lamenting his fear for the unknown, he finds some peace in his mind after speaking out to the listener.

voices remind me of some stuff by mike oldfield, back in the 80's
- not bad - in a way, it is in phase with the original medieval music - in those times, before the "well-tempered clavier", composers had to choose a mode, and stick to it (modulations sounded terrible, because the scales were not "tempered" - right ?) - here, we have a most repetitive music, much in the same logic (in a way...) (well, i like modulations - and dissonance, also !)
