Palmer, Robert - From A Whisper To A Scream Lyrics

From a whisper in the wind
To a loud scream
The message came
That I'd lost you
To the warmth of another man
I've seen more tears fall from your eyes
Than all the showers of april
I took kindness for granted
As if it came with the wallpaper
So inconsiderate of how much you cared
For some stupid reason, I just thought you had to be there
Oh my love
Oh my love
Oh my love
Oh my love
I simply must have been crazy
Or I must have been out of my mind
For me to overlook the need in you
Tell me, how could I have been so blind
Never giving thoughts to your wants and needs
Now I'm begging you please
Oh my love
Oh my love
So inconsiderate of how much you cared
For some stupid reason, I just thought you had to be there
Oh my love
Oh my love
Oh my love

Robert Palmer and David Bowie both had this Classiness that only few possess in the Cut throat business of the music industry..I have always been impressed with both..

  11. Jerry Sirbaugh

One of the best backup bands possible on your debut album. The Meters,Art Neville(Keyboards)George Porter Jr.(Bass) Leo Nocentelli(Guitar),and Joseph "Zigaboo" Modeliste(Drums). Cameo appearances by Lowell George,Allen Toussaint,Steve Winwood,Bernard Purdie,Cornell Dupree. Doesn't get much better.

Jerry Sirbaugh ....you are right on the money I was at Seasaint Studios when all this happened and much more ...what a great life I am living

Ok Marc, how did you manage that? That's a story that belongs in an autobiography or sometime. Next time I'm in Lafayette, [if I don't see you at Jazzfest], I would love to hear it. You were a witness to rock and roll history.

    Marc Isaac

indeed 1blastman ...dumb luck and a pushy personality ....and knowing that you must be useful if you want to be invited back ....go fa' dis go fa' dat always is a winner ..especially if you know you da go' fa
