Pain - Eleanor Rigby Lyrics
Ah, look at all the lonely people.
Ah, look at all the lonely people.
Eleanor Rigby, picks up the rice in the church where a wedding has been,
lives in a dream,
Who is it for?
All the lonely people.
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people.
Where do they all belong?
Father McKenzie writing the words of a sermon that no one will hear,
no one comes near,
look at him working. Darning his socks in the night when there's nobody there.
All the lonely people.
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people.
Where do they all belong?
Ah, look at all the lonely people.
Ah, look at all the lonely people.
Eleanor Rigby, died in the church and was buried along with her name,
nobody came.
Father McKenzie wiping the dirt from his hands as he walks from the grave,
no one was saved.
All the lonely people.
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people.
Where do they all belong?

Pain Eleanor Rigby Comments
John Lennon would be surprised!!!
amazing cover
Cool Track!!!👍🎸👍🎸👍🎸👍🎸👍🎸
Heard this song on Pandora forever ago and made me look up the band. Really like their other stuff too!
I never even knew there was an original until I looked it up.
Same. Roommate was, "What did they DO to that Beatles song!?" I was like, "Wut?" Looked up the original, listened. Listened to some other covers. Pain's is the best version I've heard.
nice job!
I'm looking for a version very similar to this but it has softer tones and it's more monotone. Help?
Could it possibly be the Godhead cover?
Godhead
PAIN...
There's only three bands that amazed me on the cover of this song
Godhead David Cook and pain

This was just on a bullshit talk radio station on a.m. in the middle of nowhere Iowa. Talking about the Top Ten most covered songs. Was pretty blown away at a mention of "a swedish industrial metal band Pain". Love this group. About due for a new Hypocrisy album hmmmmm????
Bien ahy Peter
Not bad but as far as comparing it to The Beatles version it is crap.
I'm impressed at how well this song works as a metal track.
exactly
Just what I needed today
The Beatles <3
Best metal version I've heard.
Solid heavy metal version
love it
One of my favorite songs
its between this and Godhand's Version
Godhead?
Godhead's 1998 cover is just a tiny bit better, and the 2001 Godhead version is only slightly worse. This is a good cover.
Pandora sent me
I've been looking for this for like 8 days, god damn
zeroellett and I will be back in touch again soon and we will be back in touch with our next couple of weeks
8 days for a song? I spent over 10 for a song that I heard when I was 4.
Cool idea
I like the godhead version from 1998 not that shity 2001 version
I prefer this version, it has a nice kick.
by far the best version
as a Beatles and Pain fan how can one thank this band for their contribution. I was there. and sir it was worthy.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👌👍
Really good,but not beatles good
+Stat Tick "This was the first version of Eleanor Rigby I heard"
"... first version of Eleanor Rigby I heard"
"...I heard"
I just wanted to point this out to you, because you apparently fanboyed out so hard you lost the abilioty to comprehend what you're reading.
He heard this version before the Beatles one.
This is the one he heard first.
It means he heard the Beatles version after.
I hope this helped you.
It's Pain good
Beatles is just a fucking overrated band. This version is way way way better than the original.
Silas Rodrigues it's good but it's not right 😏😉
without the original , no cover!
A cover can‘t be better than the original because first you have to compose it , and the harmony of this song make the greatness of it.
The pain version only have more drive , more balls and sound more modern.
I like this song :)
Very, very good Version!! The best for me!
sound is bad
