Lauchie should be the lead singer he has the best power voice. I love Timmy's voice however it just doesn't seem like a voice that she be emphasized over Lachie's

I look at it this way. Lachie is great for songs with lower voice (he sings bass) but Timmy is an amazing lead singer because most of their songs are made for a higher voice (tenor) to be in front. I consider them both lead singers tho, it's the other guys who are usually in the background.

IceCranberry I remember Timmy and Mike saying they all used harnesses for at least some of the off-the-ground portion of the video. Mike I remember because he said the movement made him throw up his breakfast into his mouth (ew) and Timmy because he said the harnesses pulled at his "sensitive bits". I don't remember if it's all harness-work though

I grew up in Motown in the 80's when the USA was having a love affair with the 50's. I was raised on The Four Seasons, the Drifters, Temptations, and so many more of that ilk, loving the classic 4 and 5 man line up early "boy bands."

The Overtones are AMAZING. They combine the talent and class of those early groups with a firm grasp of modern music. Their covers they make their own, and their original songs blow me away.

This is seriously my favorite song by the overtones. I don't know why it's not one of their more popular songs, but it really shows the vocal capabilities of each of the members. You can usually pick Mike's Soft vocals out of a harmony, and Darren topping the falsetto but Mark is so impossible and I think he's got one of the best "SOLID" Voices. He's like the rock under the surface of the water keeping them all balanced, in tune. So excited to see him pop up and hear his voice for once!
