My dad had all the outkast albums. But he played aquemini on his car stereo the most. Man once I heard this song, that guitar man whoo I loved it then he went to. Atlanta one time, and I shit you not the same bowling alley he was at. Just happened to be the same one that Andre 3000 and the rest of the outkast were at, man if only me and my lil brother were there. Would've definitely got a couple of pictures with Andre and big boi. Idlewild is my shit. To this day I be still bumping Hollywood divorce, Morris brown, etc. Man whatever happened to outkast, it's been a number of years since I heard anything by outkast. Shout out to the south.

Tptb hates people having something uplifting. Outkast didn't get any airplay for much of the country.

Andre was changing and started to experiment with different types of instruments and vocals and started focusing on other things and didn't want to commit to making albums and touring anymore as Outkast. He even said he is a different kind of cat and he was sorry to Big Boi that he is that way. Andre brought out a few solo albums one being a jazz record that were so different from outkast it never got picked up as popular. He was in a song called Sorry from T.I. that he apologized to Big Boi and explained himself the best he could. Andre's lines in the song were "“This the type of shit that’ll make you call your rap partner and say ‘I’m sorry I’m awkward, my fault for fucking up the tours,’ I hated all the attention so I ran from it/ Fuck it if we did, but I hope we didn’t lose no fans from it.” The same thing that makes Andre the amazing artist he is, is the same thing that destroyed the group. Deep methodical artists have that kind of personality.

Big Boi still makes music he’s got 3 albums, an ep in a group called Big Grams, and he’s making music with Sleepy Brown.
