I WOULD LIKE TO THANK TREY PARKER FOR THIS AMAZING BAND!!!

I had the privilege of briefly knowing the bassist, Evil J, working together at a rent-to-own store called Rentown in Waterbury, CT. I was the assistant manager and sat with him to train him to be an account manager when he was first hired. I had seen him play with Tyrant Trooper several times in previous years but didn't realize it was him until we got to talking when he heard the kind of music I listened to. During this time he connected with Otep on MySpace and decided to move to Cali in 2000 to continue his musical pursuits. He was a 'schooled musician' and I think his dislike of the mundane and depressing job was a big motivating factor to say 'F this' and do what he really loved. It turned out to be a good decision for him and the rest is history but the sound of his old CT band was much better in my opinion, although maybe less unique. One thing I remember that stands out is how much he hated the way Lemmy played bass like a guitar, lol. He had some past friction with at least one member of Hatebreed too. He had a cassette tape of some songs in development with his old band that never wound up getting released that he let me borrow to take home and copy. That was really cool of him and I still have it (somewhere) to this day 20 years later! He definitely had a lot of talent and creativity and I'm glad he was able to accomplish so much success with it.

This song and Blood Pig... They hit the nail on the head for me, but it wasn't my dad (whom I love with all my heart). It was my stepfather, that nasty p.o.s..

The lyrics to this song are just excruciating.  They cut so close to the bone that it's almost too hard to listen all the way to the violent and inevitable end.  Powerful, thought-provoking stuff.

I wish everyone could understand what this music does for people. But some people are blind to it. Which isn't really a bad thing I guess. They don't have the same pain. 

They rule it. The best band every! Even give us a killer show in a tiny venue in Grand Junction, Colorado. They slay it

HEROINBONER1 .hey not to get on your case because I've been through abuse too of every kind and every time all My friends don't understand how I let it happen seeing as how I'm a string willed Person so I don't get loads of support but putting someone's number for all to see is not the way to go about handling it. They can legally come after you for doing it and that can end up cutting off certain avenues of support to you. Also you'll always find people with opinions of every color in the rainbow who will react just as many ways including coming after you, treating you like the bad guy or a dramatic crybaby because they don't know the while story (in fact none if us do, me included) or maybe try to retaliate against him for being abusive and that could come back on you for sharing his info. And it's not going to heal you. Reach out to local centers and they'll help you handle it in a healthy manner that guy cab draw pride from. Like I said, I'm not trying to make you feel bad or come down on you for it. I've just been in bad places before too and learned from Many mistakes..good luck to you...

actually. the reason people self mutilate is because it works. once you start the cutting process it becomes something of a drug. the first time you cut your body releases endorphins which kill emotional pain. soo... you rely on it for every emotional pain you have and you continue to do it. you begin to use it as a crutch to help yourself through anything and everything. thats why people do it.
