Osborne is a fine singer and his rendition is well worth hearing.
For me, however, Roberta Flack's rendition remains the best. Although I much admire Johnny Cash's performance as well --

The Voice- Vern Gosdin version is smoother, but I enjoy the mellowness of Jeffrey's version too. The song is just a classic.
