Orgy - The Obvious Lyrics
Wake me from this altered state
My future's looking, brighter all the time
I'm stumbling and delirious
Something's changed since those teenage days
I'm the talk of the town
Looking strange and I'll say it out loud
There's nothing left to hide
When duplicating the obvious
And it's nothing we decide
Like you, like me
Twist my words so they read me wrong
The truth was never good enough for you
Talk me down look me in my face
Look at you now, feeling like the clown
Next time you should think it over
There's nothing left to hide
Nothing left to hide
When duplicating the obvious
When duplicating the obvious
And it's nothing we decide
Like you, like me
With no reason, you twist my words
'Cause you're helpless lost in a state of madness
In a state of madness
In a state of madness
Lost in a state of madness
In a state of madness
In a state of madness
Lost in a state of madness
In a state of madness
Lost in a state of madness
Lost in a state of madness

LOVE THIS FUCKING SONG!!!!!!!1
best song off this album
Never Heard This song for a while!
well i havent heard it for years
People compare this album to nu metal, but it just makes me think of stuff like Stabbing Westward and Godhead. Glad to see that people are kinder towards this album now that time's passed, the nu metal comparisons are lost on me.
I know of industrial bands, straight-up industrial like Sitd, God Module, Ludavico Technique and Mind Shredder. So it's not lost on me, in comparison, orgy is clearly pop metal.
They were always with a step in the future ...
This album is a split in 2 different directions and you can really feel what Jay wanted Orgy to become ... and What Amir and Ryan decided to become because of it
the lyrics on this album are much simpler, and whiny and angsty. Musically, the edge is gone too, but this is great compared to that guitar free bouncy electro pop shit ep that they released recently... that is Jay and a bunch of unknowns.
Song kicks ass
