Orbison, Roy - Borne On The Wind Lyrics

Borne on the wind,
Borne on the wind,
Between the sunset and the dawn.
So tenderly your memory
Lingers with me on and on

Borne on the wind,
Borne on the wind
You are still with me it seems
A life to live, a love to give,
And you will live in my dreams.

You don't love me,
But you love for me to be in love with you.
You lured me on,led me on
But when I fell you were gone.

Borne on the wind,
Borne on the wind,
Now a song in my heart.
A soft refrain you will remain
To live in my heart again

Borne on the wind,
Borne on the wind,
Borne on the wind.

On this day in 1964 {April 11th} the Beatles held the top six spots on the Australian Kent Music Report chart...
    #1. Roll Over Beethoven
    #2. All My Loving
    #3. Love Me Do
    #4. She Loves You
    #5. Twist And Shout
#6. I Want To Hold Your Hand
    followed by
#7. Bits And Pieces by Dave Clark Five
#8. The Harem by Mr.Acker Bilk & His Paramount Jazz Band
#9. Needles And Pins by The Searchers
And the lone American on the Top 10 was right at #10, "Borne On The Wind" by Roy Orbison

It was called Beatlemania, radio stations were instructed by management to put the latest release from the Beatles to No.1. Most of that stuff from the Beatles as well as #7,8,9 was almost corny by comparison with Roy Orbison's music and has in fact been largely forgotten.

This is one of those rare times I'm very happy to know how to read the Cyrillic alphabet and look for cognates.
