The hymn should be changed to Great is Thy faithfulness Lord unto [Thee]. God’s faithfulness is in accordance to Himself.

I believe the structure of the sentence is meant to convey who receives the faithfulness, not who gives it - God is Faithful (“unto”) to us. ”Morning by morning new mercies I see. All I have needed, thy hand hath provided.” It’s about our experience of God’s faithfulness to us.
Yes, it is in accordance to his will, but we are always beneficiaries of his faithfulness.

I honestly love the old hymns and think it's awesome to use a tactic such as adding a simple chorus to reintroduce them to younger generations. However, I don't understand poor pronunciation of words having to play a part in their performance tracks:

P.S. I understand liberty when it comes to singing and performing but to me that involves notes and timing not proper pronunciation, breathing, etc.
I feel this way about a lot of these "modern" songs. I love the music but can't stand the laziness put into pronunciation and production. I'm 25 yrs old btw.

Why do we have to modify great hymns? The chorus in this new version version jars musically and lyrically.

If one needs to express the same thoughts in a new way then a completely new hymn should be written rather indirectly indicating that the original is unsatisfactory. I feel for the original author.

Stan Clark No one is forcing you to listen to this. If you like the original, listen to the original. No one cares that you don’t like this rendition. And no one likes a complainer.
