This is my favourite Oingo Boingo song and it’s really hard to find on anything that isn’t YouTube - I wish it was a bit better known!

man... it's tragic how the one you used to love was the one who introduced you to this amazing band with this single song..

I've recently come to the conclusion that this song applies to many contexts; when I first heard it, I thought of it as a cute exasperated little song about unrequited love, about chasing after someone and never being able to attain their affection. However, having come back to this song after a nasty confrontation with a friend of mine, I've found that it also works in the context of someone realizing how fed up they are with someone, realizing that after all of the time they've spent trying to catch up to this person, in the end it isn't worth it because the person just doesn't want to listen or acknowledge whatever it is they've been doing to upset the person doing the chasing. It's neat, realizing the duality of the song. (Feel free to comment with your own interpretation of the song below this one!! I kinda want to see how other people see it, as I only adopted the latter view recently.)

Boingo is literally one of my favourite bands, man, are they underrated.

Nothing To Fear is my favorite Boingo record along with Only A Lad both are so much better than Dead Mans Party

The first 3 albums are the best

That horn section always was Oingo Boingo's secret weapon. It's a pretty straightforward New Wave song at first, and then the horns kick in and suddenly it's a soul tune. Some great drumming by Vatos here, too.
