I used to have this album on cassette and I really liked it though I haven't heard it for years now. He did have a great voice, it's a shame he doesn't do anything like this now.I guess he doesn't have to, what with all the soundtracks, but still.

I can't believe this guy created some of the most iconic orchestral music in pop culture. Who the hell would have thought he would be among the greats like John Williams and Hans Zimmer?

He also directed music videos for Sparks and the first EVER video for Red Hot Chili Peppers, “True Men Don’t Kill Coyotes” during the same year as the “Gratitude” video, in 1984. He is an oddball and a complete genius, like Crispin Glover in “Rubin and Ed”.

Bryan Thomas Oingo Boingo had a huge following in their part of the US, they were a very well known name and played live for 17 years, a long time for a rock band. He started doing film composing while still in the band because he was known about through Oingo Boingo. A band didnt have to be highly advertised and sell globally to be successful and get known about (then at least)
