I appreciate the effort but this cover fuckin sucks. It doesnt feel like 311 or Offspring at all
The last 2 albums were pretty terrible, the downhill started with Splinter album however unfortunately which only had one really good song in "The Noose" after that Rise & Fall *shivers* album came out which was pretty much pure toilet. Days gone by had 4-5 good songs but overall didnt feel energetic enough to listen to like their old stuff i lost interest in it rather quick, not as bad as rise & Fall but still pretty average.
Never heard the original of this cover but it sounds way too pop aswell and Dexter voice is really weak here very dissapointing track. If this cover is what the new album might have to offer it doesnt look promising this is by far one if not their worst covers ive heard.

Some parts sound like The Offspring, but then you can really tell it was by 311 at the same time. I think I'm more into this cover than 311's for Self Esteem, which was okay.
Back in 1994, at 14 years old, hitch hiked 200 some odd miles to St. Louis to see The Offspring (and Guttermouth) live. My mom still doesnt know! Best show EVER!

Good to hear the old Punk sound coming back I thought they went south after Conspiracy Of One, they the ending of this one does sound Grunge xD. So I hope they stick with the old Punk and not the Blink 182 style of music. (Which is not music Blink-182 can't do anything for peanuts, Ashford & Simpson sound better then Blink and that's saying something)
