This band is like a Phoenix. When Austin left they went down in flames, then burst out of the ashes in a beautiful, stunning light show.

I haven't listened to Of Mice & Men since Shayley's departure. Now listening to this was like listening to a whole new band, but I honestly like this sound.

Just heard this song for the first time. I am truely amazed and blown away at how amazing this tune is. This song should have been the first single. Truely beautiful. This band is amazing.

I know Imma get hate for saying this, but I don't really like their new stuff. It's not that Austin is gone, to be honest, I didn't notice the difference until now. I'm not saying their music is bad, it's good, but I just can't get into it.

I was there for the band back in the MySpace days. I remember changing my profile picture to the original OM&M cover and taking to Carlile in messages on there.
I’ve seen it all, when no one knew them, to their first release and them starting to find themselves, to the breakout success (and absolutely incredible sophomore effort of The Flood), and then what I viewed as missteps and stagnation after that.
This is the first album since The Food that I have loved, and while I do miss Carlile’s screams (it’s the reason I ever followed them in the first place) I love what Aaron is doing and I’m excited for what’s to come.
Somehow through all the lineup changes and all of the drama that surrounds it this band prevails and continues to make great music (with this being my favorite song of the album).

Thank you for your bravery. I feel the same. I feel that Austin was limiting the band's musical creativity. Now they have solos instead of breakdowns. Plus, their live performance at hellfest is so good, especially how Aaron manages to encourage the crowd as a frontman while still rocking the bass.

See, songs like this where they aren't trying to emulate old OM&M sounds fantastic. So like 2-4 songs of the album are good. When they try to go towards Carlile era sound it just sounds cringey. Keep it up.

I feel like the "cancerous comments" are a little dignified. When a band loses its vocalists over the course of a few years and they're replaced by one guy, it may not be agreeable to its fans. I love Of Mice & Men, I would never hate on them or join the cancerous comments, but I don't enjoy the new sound of the band, nor do I like the nasally voice of the newer vocalist who's now the only vocalist.

This album doesn't sound bad, it's just not for me. And I totally understand if fans are a little disappointed that the Of Mice & Men sound has changed so _drastically._

I was fine with losing Shayley Bourget, although he's an amazing vocalist he can try to find another place to share his art. But when Austin left, it's really missing what I enjoy hearing when I listen to Of Mice & Men. Everything has changed, not just the vocals.

Like I've said before, it's alright for a band to change their sound over time, to experiment with new sounds, but this is such a drastic change that it's not remotely the same sound to me.

So many fans sad that Austin left are blinded by his departure and don't truly admire the skill level that arron is performing at. Writing lyrics, playing bass, and performing ALL vocals simultaneously. Arguably the most talented member this band has ever seen and they don't even care.

Overall, this album has the same OM&M- style but not as sad or dark as the other albums. It's like when a door closes, a window opens. And out from this window it shines bright and hopeful. Absolutely gorgeous efford!!
