After all these years... Still can't get enough of this!

Obituary and most of other olskool metal/ hardcore for me is "let's not overthink about the composition and other stuff... let's just play, spit it out loud, express your emotion, let's not complicate things" kinda metal.

And i can't get enough of "Threatening Skies". Long live Obituary!

I remember buying this album on a school day trip to Milton Keynes,in 1997 when I was 12,I lent a tenner of my mate Gaz and I only bought it coz I liked the cover picture,then when I got home my mum had a go at me cos we owed Gaz a tenner! I put it on and thought fuck sake what a load of trash and never listened to Obituary again,20 years later here I am just checked them out again and fucking love it! Oh how life is strange.

i dont like obituary that much and i dont know why.i like heavier bands than them but for some reason i prefer more atmospheric death metal.
